Filipino Centennial Celebration Closing Dinner

A gala dinner marked the end of a year-long celebration commemorating the centennial of Filipinos in Hawaii. The Philippine Centennial Celebration Commission presented the gala closing dinner with the theme “Parangal: Celebrating the Promise of Tomorrow” at the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s Coral Ballroom.

Entertainment for the evening featured local Filipinos Martin Nievera and Kristian Lei. And guests also enjoyed a duet sung by Mayor Mufi Hannemann and Martin Nievera.
