After four days of fireknife dancing and acrobatics, the most talented dancers battled for the championship on May 14 at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The 19th annual event, which is part of the We Are Samoa Festival, attracts international competitors of all ages. The festival aims at educating the public about Samoan culture and the challenging art of Samoan fireknife.
