Goodwill’s Annual Auction
Del.icio.usGoodwill Industries of Hawaii staged its 15th annual fundraising auction recently at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort.
This year set a new record for the event, earning more than $85,000 for the agency’s employment service programs.
More than 300 people attended the event, which showcased Goodwill’s efforts in providing job placement and employment support services to those faced with a variety of barriers to employment.
Over the past five years, Goodwill has served more than 20,000 people in Hawaii. The agency places more than 1,000 individuals into jobs throughout the state each year.
