The attire was old Hawaii plantation style for the Hawaii Food Industry Association’s annual New Year’s social “Plantation Days” at Honolulu Country Club.

It was good fun with good friends and good food. The menu included selections from the Hawaiian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Filipino camps.

Presented by American Savings Bank, the event was emceed by plantation boy Derek Kurisu. A special prize was awarded to the company that showed the most spirit. And the winner of this year’s award went to Anheuser- Busch Sales of Hawaii.
