Hospice Hawaii
Hospice Hawaii held its annual wine-tasting fundraiser, Na Hoa Malama, this month at Waialae Country Club. The event also honored the memory of three “heroes” it cared for: Native Hawaiian featherwork artist Aunty Mary Lou Kekuewa, beloved community patron Alice Ihori and retired University of Hawaii religion professor Mitsuo Aoki.
The evening featured wine from some of the country’s greatest wine regions, an Italian-themed dinner and silent auction. All proceeds benefit Hospice Hawaii’s programs and services.
