Opera Ball
Del.icio.usInspired by Hawaii Opera Theatre’s upcoming 2007 Season of Dangerous Liaisons, friends, neighbors and opera patrons gathered for the Opera Ball 2006 “Les Liaisons Dangereuse.”
The annual event held at the Sheraton Waikiki was a great night of fabulous food, wine, live music and dancing. The black-tie party showcased some of Hawaii’s most celebrated local entertainers, and the silent auction included exotic trips, treasures and uncommon offerings.
The Opera Ball is the single most important fundraising event for Hawaii Opera Theatre. Funds raised through this annual gala support HOT’s mission to cultivate an appreciation of the performing arts, and help provide opportunities for young people to gain firsthand experience of this dynamic and ever-growing art form.
