The Pan-Pacific Festival Matsuri in Hawai’i Advisory Committee and the Kintetsu International Hawai’i Company recently hosted the Pan-Pacific Festival Opening Reception at the Ala Moana Hotel’s Hibiscus Ballroom.

The annual Pan-Pacific Festival is sponsored in part by the Matsuri in Hawaii Advisory Committee and the Hawaii Tourism Authority, and is held in conjunction with the King Kamehameha Celebration. Since its 1980 inception, the mission of the festival has been to promote intercultural friendship and overcome language and geographic barriers through shared interests.
