The Honolulu Police Community Foundation held its fourth annual Honolulu’s Finest Gala May 20 at the Sheraton Waikiki with sponsorship from the Star-Advertiser. Funds raised go to scholarships and HPD equipment that fall outside the department’s budget. The event honored former Chief Justice Ronald T.Y. Moon and former Honolulu police commissioner Cha Thompson.
