The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Hawaii held its Sixth Annual Rainbow of Hope ALS Dinner at the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s Tapa Ballroom. The guests enjoyed cocktails, a silent auction, dinner, a live auction and an awards program. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. This year the Muscular Dystophy Association of Hawaii presented Kazi Foods of Hawaii, KFC-Hawaii and Burger King with Humanitarian Awards. This award was established to pay tribute to the goodwill and contributions to organizations in the community like the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
