Sony Open 2007
It was an exciting and memorable four days of golf at the Sony Open as MidWeek and the Star-Bulletin again hosted a skybox at the 17th green for friends and clients. Hawaii’s Tadd Fujikawa drew huge galleries and finished at a respectable 20th place. Played at the Waialae Country Club each January, the Sony Open attracts 144 of the world’s greatest golf professionals. The event is the largest charity event in Hawaii and has raised more than $6 million for local non-profit organizations since 1999. Taking home the championship prize of $936,000 this year was Paul Goydos.
