Compadres Bar & Grill teamed up with Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundatio to raise money for college scholarships and athletic grants with a special surfboard art auction.

The party was a festive gathering featuring live music and a pupu fiesta, and a collection of signature surfboard art designed and donated by local artists was auctioned off. The surf auction is a prelude to the 2008 Duke’s OceanFest, happening Aug. 17-24.
