The 442nd Veterans Club observed the 68th anniversary of the WWII 442nd Regimental Combat Team with a banquet March 27 at the Pacific Beach Hotel. It was 68 years ago that the 2,600 inductees from Hawaii sailed to the Mainland to get to Camp Shelby, Mississippi. The luncheon was attended by about 100 442nd veterans.
