The Assitance League Celebrates Service
The Assistance League of Hawaii hosted “An Affair to Remember” at Washington Place recently. The event celebrated 37 years of volunteer service to children, youths and adults of Hawaii.
The luncheon also included a tour of the grounds and a fashion show featuring attire from Calista.
The fashion show documented a day in the life of an ALH volunteer, emceed by KHON-TV reporter Tina Shelton.
The Assistance League of Hawaii was organized in 1968 and chartered in 1971 as a philanthropic corporation. Its motto is “Kokua with Aloha.”
