The Hawaii Food Industry’s Annual Convention
Del.icio.usThe Hawaii Food Industry staged its annual meeting and convention at the J.W. Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa recently. More than 300 members, guests and families attended to make this year’s gathering another success.
HFIA, representing food retailers and wholesalers, celebrated its 35th birthday. The non-profit trade association has a membership of more than 250 companies. The officers for 2006-2007 are chairman of the board Derek Kurisu (KTA Super Stores), vice chairman Glenn Muranaka (Meadow Gold Dairies), secretary/treasurer Paul Kosasa (ABC Stores), immediate past chair Joe Detro (Foodland Supermarkets) and president Richard Botti (HFIA).
