The Mandarin Ball
The Hawaii Chinese Civic Association (HCCA) hosted its annual Mandarin Ball gala at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The association recognized Wilfred S. Pang as the Mandarin for 2006. The distinction was given in recognition of his leadership and service to the community.
The HCCA was founded in 1925 with the purpose of encouraging its members to exercise the prerogative of American citizenship, foster civic progress in the community and cultivate tolerance and goodwill in the community.
