The Mayor’s 41st Annual Senior Recognition Program
Del.icio.us“Healthy Living by Sharing Aloha” was the theme for the The Mayor’s 41st annual Senior Recognition Program held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.
The program honors senior citizens who help and benefit their communities by actively volunteering. Whether they are delivering meals to homebound seniors or reading to children, these volunteers play a major role in preserving our island culture.
The special evening included live entertainment by Melveen Leed, Kokua Kalihi Valley Seniors, Makua Alii singers and dancers, and the Royal Hawaiian Band.
