Hawaii Pacific University celebrated its sixth annual Paul C.T. Loo Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet recently at the Waialae Country Club. Three outstanding alumni were honored for their achievements in three categories: Professional Achievement Award, Alumni Service Award and Young Alumni Award. This year’s awardees were Ray Vara, Ernest Fukeda Jr. and Jared T. Grugett respectively. The awards are named in honor of Paul C.T. Loo, one of the university’s founders.
