Friends, family and supporters joined Scenic Hawaii Inc. and the Hale Koa Hotel for a tree planting ceremony in celebration of Arbor Day and Veteran’s Day.

The ceremony honored the intent and importance of Arbor Day with the planting and preserving of trees at Fort DeRussy, which is dedicated to the military. In recognition of Veteran’s Day, the ceremony also honored all veterans with the planting on military grounds.
