UH Baseball Grand Slam Celebration
Del.icio.usLegendary former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda was the guest speaker at the UH baseball team’s annual Grand Slam Celebration at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The fund-raiser also included food from a variety of Honolulu restaurants, and both live and silent auctions. In addition to the always colorful Lasorda, who also coached Team USA to a gold medal in the Olympics, the UH baseball team was in attendance, along with many UH coaches and university fans and supporters. The event raises money for the baseball program above and beyond school funding.
