UH Law School Jurists-In-Residence Program
The University of Hawaii at Manoa’s William S. Richardson School of Law’s 2006 Jurists-in-Residence Formal Dinner was held recently at the Halekulani Hotel in honor of United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy and United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit Senior Judge Myron H. Bright.
Sponsored by the law firm of Case Lombardi & Pettit, the Jurists-in-Residence Program brings distinguished jurists to the law school to meet with students, faculty, the judiciary and the bar in an educational setting.
Instituted in 1987 with the help of Judge Bright, the program enables students and the community to exchange ideas directly with some of the country’s leading jurists. The law school welcomed Justice Kennedy on his third visit as part of the Jurists-in-Residence Program.
