The popular fund-raiser The Mauka Makai ... Voyage of Discovery was hosted by the Friends of the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii at Wai’alae Country Club in Kahala.

This year’s event theme was “Over The Rainbow” and included a silent auction, delicious cuisine, a hosted bar and live entertainment.

Joanna L. Sullivan and the late Maurice J. Sullivan were recognized for their strong support of cancer research.
