It’s a big weekend for fashion in Honolulu! Friday, April 20 kicks it off with Urban Pacific’s Spring 2007 event at Next Door. More than 20 films from around the world (Japan, South Korea, Romania, India, New Zealand, USA and more) will be featured in this “mini festival,” which was created to present more international films throughout the year. This year’s Spring Showcase features two Johnnie To films, Hal Hartley’s Fay Grim, Taika Waititi’s Eagle Vs. Shark, Adrienne Shelly’s Waitress, and Lee Sang-Il’s Hula Girls, just to name a few.
