RETRO AIR JORDAN I (Sarah)
Nike just re-released the Air Jordan I (originally released in 1985) in a two-pair pack called “Old Love/New Love” with an original colorway (white/black/red) and a new colorway (black/maize/white). The two -pair packs are completely sold out and in order to get them now, you’ll be paying prices way above the original retail price. But because I’m a girl, I fit the kids sizes, and the pairs are sold separately in kids sizes! So, I copped a single pair in the white/black/red colorway at Kicks on Makaloa Street. These retro Air Jordans are so dope. Not only do they look good, but these shoes represent so much to fashion and sneaker culture today. And to think that I originally went to Kicks to get a pair of Nike Blazers ... that I still want, of course ...
