Honolulu-based Hawaiian jewelry designer Philip Rickard had his bracelets featured in Gwen Stefani’s Spring 2008 L.A.M.B. runway show at the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week last month. It’s no surprise that Gwen asked Rickard to produce the exclusive gold and enamel pieces for the Spring 2008 show—she has been a fan of Rickard’s Hawaiian jewelry and she really does wear Hawaiian bracelets. In fact, they have collaborated before for L.A.M.B.‘s Spring 2006 runway show and in Gwen’s Luxurious video. Always a trendsetter and definitely a girl with personal style, Gwen created L.A.M.B. (which stands for Love Angel Music Baby) from her love of fashion and design. In addition to clothing, the line also features handbags, shoes, watches and a new fragrance.
