A WHITE Gala Benefit for the Hawaiian Humane Society at Fishcake May 23, 6 p.m.
Fishcake, a new home furniture showroom and boutique in Kakaako, will host the first WHITE Gala benefit for the Hawaiian Humane Society May 23 at 6 p.m. The showroom will feature Hawaii-based contemporary art (in white, of course), a clothing collection presentation by Gary Fujimoto, a Butoh troupe and live music. There also will be an auction of original pet furniture pieces created by local artists. The O Lounge will provide pupus and will mix White Ciroc Vodka Saketinis, the signature drink of the night. Tickets for the gala are $50 and available at Fishcake; you also can order via phone at 593-1231. Don’t forget to wear white!
