Dan Weaver, a University of Hawaii Apparel Product Design and Merchandising graduate, will be presenting his fall 2008 collection next Friday at Loft. Dan will present more than 20 looks for this fashion show. It’s definitely a not-to-be-missed event. For fall ‘08, Dan takes buffalo plaid and gingham prints and creates pieces in classic styles (like long-sleeve shirts, shirtdresses, shorts) but remixes them, giving them new shape and symmetry. As always, Dan pays close to attention to detail, from cuffs and collars to color. Dan is “excited about the direction he is moving in” for this fall ‘08 collection. We’re excited to see what he’s excited about.
