ALA MOANA HOTEL’S 38TH ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST
Dust off your clogs and bring down the large beer mugs for Oktoberfest.
From Oct. 7 to 12, enjoy a week-long celebration of German culture at the Ala Moana Hotel’s Hibiscus Ballroom.
Indulge in a hearty fare of German delicacies including sauerkraut, bratwurst, apple strudel, pig knuckle and beer! Close to 20 varieties of keg beer will be on tap and 2,800 different bottled German beers will be available. Also, try one of the many shots served of German Schnapps liqueurs including Jagermeister, Goldwasser and Barenjager. The Edelweiss Band plays polka music throughout the evening. Also, guests - who are not chicken - are strongly encouraged to flap their arms and wiggle down to the beat of the Chicken Dance. Admission is $5 per person on Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, and $10 on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available through the Ala Moana Hotel’s catering department, and at the door during the event.

THE CONTEMPORARY MUSEUM’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY OCTOBER SPECIALS AND EVENTS
