Eleven seniors in the University of Hawaii’s Apparel Product Design and Merchandising Department are gearing up for the department’s annual fashion show, this year titled Absolute Fashion: All Bottled Up, at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel April 27. Pictured here are the designs and the designers.
“This year we have a creative group of seniors with a variety of points of views,” says lecturer Cynthia Tsark on what you can expect to see on stage. “The clothes go anywhere from sophisticated couture to street fashion.”
Also on the runway will be previews from 17 junior designers.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with boutique sales located outside the Molokai Ballroom at the Sheraton Waikiki. Doors to the ballroom open at 11:30 a.m. with lunch to be served at noon followed by the fashion show.
