Back-To-School Fashions At Windward Mall

Windward Mall is helping students get ready for back-to-school with its Summer DisFUNKshion series of events July 17 through Aug. 1, including celebrity appearances, entertainment, door prizes and more.
Shoppers also will get to see the latest trends July 18 (6:15 p.m.) in a live runway show featuring 12 Windward Mall fashion retailers, and have a chance to win two tickets to see No Doubt in concert. The fashion show will be produced by ADR Productions and participating retailers include Aeropostale, Celebrity Tuxedos, Get Wet, Hot Topic, Jeans Warehouse, Local Motion, Macy’s, No Fear Hawaii, Sindication, Spencer’s Gifts, T&C Surf and Wet Seal. Hair and makeup will be provided by Regis Salon, Trade Secret and MAC Cosmetics. There also will be a back-to-school sidewalk sale July 17-19, with special bargains at participating Windward Mall retailers.
On July 25 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Kutmaster Spaz, host of Dis-N-Dat, will be at Center Court with a $300 Windward Mall shopping spree giveaway. And on Aug. 1 (from noon to 5 p.m.), it’s THE PROJECTX, a music, art and active lifestyle event presented by Sindication and No Fear Hawaii.
