Cassandra Rull
Wednesday - November 16, 2011
Cassandra Rull never planned on turning her hobby of making clothes into a business, but in 2007 she started selling some of her pieces and now she’s busy stitching and trying to keep up with orders.
“My clothes are made to fit the local Hawaii girl who wants to look cute but be comfortable,” says Rull, 23 (pictured above). “It is also a reflection of my own beachy, freespirited, surfer girl style of a girl who is always on the go.”
Born and raised in Lihue on Kaua’i, Rull lives on the North Shore and has a bachelor’s degree in fashion design from the University of Hawaii. She plans to continue to hand-make all of her garments for as along as she can keep up with demand. Her designs can be found on her Facebook page, and at Art and Flea, Fashionista’s Market, Miki Nola and Roam Hawaii.
