Cinema Italiano At Kahala Mall

The seventh annual Cinema Italiano in Hawaii takes place Sept. 23-26 at Kahala Mall featuring nine outstanding contemporary Italian films screened at Kahala Consolidated Theatres.
Since its inception in 2003, Cinema Italiano in Hawaii has introduced great Italian films, invited directors to lecture at local schools, provided film scholarships and sponsored food and wine celebrations, fashion shows and other fabulous events in support of the festival. The opening night gala happens Sept. 23 from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. with refreshments on the rooftop above Kahala Theatres. Tickets cost $40 and includes food, wine and the premiere of Basilicata Coast to Coast. Tickets may be purchased at Adore, SoHa Living and Therapy Boutique or call 673-5892. While at Kahala Mall, show your same-day movie stub (Sept. 23-30) at participating Kahala Mall stores and receive a special discount or offer. Look for the Reel Deals sign or window cling and ask an associate for the special offer.
