Dig Lifestyles, a streetwear boutique for men and women, has relocated from Sam Sung Plaza to Ward Warehouse (next to Honolulu Cookie Company).

Founded two years ago by friends Chris Nakano, Rey Alconcel, Mike Jackson and Andre Moreno, Dig Lifestyles offers a variety of fashions influenced by music, art and the hip-hop culture.

Brands include (for men) Artful Dodger, Red Monkey, Lemar and Dauley, Ciano Farmer, Red Clay, Free Gold Watch, Stacks and Bundles Akomplice, Foreign Family, Cavi, Fat Cop, Prohibit and Rocksmith; and (for women) Hiquee, Nicacelly, 5 Crown, Gentle Fawn, and more.

“I think our buying makes our store different,” says Nakano, who used to be a buyer at Sera’s Surf N’ Shore. “All of the owners have different tastes, which is why we have something for everyone.

“Also, you can feel the passion of the store by the wall of musicians when you walk in. Each of the owners has been involved with various artists, including the Roots, Erykah Badu, Goapele, Slum Village, Common, Talib Kweli, Outkast, Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Souls of Mischief, Method Man, Styles P and all the DJs that kill it across the nation.”
