Father’s Day At Windward Mall

In celebration of Father’s Day, Windward Mall hosts a series of events starting with a Father’s Day Fashion ShowJune 11 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Center Court. Organized by Ryan Brown, president of ADR Agency, the show will highlight stylish ensembles from stores including Macy’s, Sears, Kazu Couture, PacSun, Journeys and more. In addition to the runway portion of the fashion show, guests also can enter to win a trip for two to Las Vegas.
Then, on June 18, it’s the Hawaii Coalition for Dad’s 13th annual Celebrate Fathers Event with a magic show by Kaulana at 11 a.m.; Tahitian dancing by Tamatoa at noon; arts and crafts, live entertainment, informational booths and a balloon artist from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and a father-child look-alike contest from 1 to 3 p.m.
First-place prize for the father-child look-alike contest is an Xbox 360 (4 GB) and a $300 Sears gift card; second place prize is a $100 Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ gift card and $100 Journeys gift card; and third place prize is a $100 Koolau Pets gift card and a Father/Child Klean Kanteen set from SoulTrex. To enter, apply in person at Center Court on the day of the event.
And on June 25, Windward Mall presents the Eastside Hot Rod Club and classic car show in the Macy’s parking lot in front of Kamehameha Highway from 5 to 9 p.m. Join other car lovers and browse through more than 200 of your favorite classic, muscle and various other car makes and models.
