Sixteen years ago Florencia Arias-Nordstrom decided she wanted to be a designer with a goal of creating clothes that make women feel comfortable, beautiful and sexy.
Now, at age 32, she feels she has reached that goal with her two-year-old line Florencia Arias Hawaii, a collection of contemporary, sexy, casual clothing for day or night. “These are effortless pieces that are easy to wear and can be dressed up or down for any occasion,” she says. “They are made of a very soft, high-end fiber (modal). It’s a very comfortable and stretchy material that fits very nicely on different types of bodies.” Arias-Nordstrom, who was born and raised in Argentina, lives in Kaimuki with husband Todd and their two young children.
