Ala Moana Center celebrates Fourth of July with a weekend of entertainment, a Stars & Stripes giveaway, and shopping and savings for the entire family July 2 to 5. And, of course, Hawaii’s largest fireworks spectacular on Independence Day.

Ala Moana Center’s Fourth of July fireworks show, which is launched from Ala Moana Beach Park and is among the 25 largest in the country, will begin on Sunday, July 4 at 8:30 p.m. Spectators can view the stunning 18-minute display from Ala Moana Center’s makai-ewa parking deck. Free open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Leading up to the fireworks extravaganza, Ala Moana Center will host a series of free performances, including entertainment by Marlene Baldueza, Eric Lee, KONA and the 11th Army Band at Centerstage from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. July 3; and John Cruz, Sean Naauao, Melveen Leed and Kaleo Del Sol from noon to 5 p.m. July 4, followed by the Navy Military Band, Makana, Anuhea, Natural Vibrations, A Touch of Gold and Amy Hanaialii Gilliom from 5 p.m. until the fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. on the parking deck.

To help you get ready for the occasion, shoppers can enjoy a 20 percent Savings Pass valid July 2-5 and available at AlaMoanaCenter.com and at Ala Moana Center’s Customer Service Center. Show the pass at any of the more than 60 participating stores and receive 20 percent off the purchase of one regular-priced item per store, per day. Restrictions apply; see individual stores for details. Ala Moana Center also will give away up to $5,000 in prizes, including Las Vegas trips for two, during its Stars & Stripes giveaway July 3 and 4 at Centerstage.

Featured here are some red, white and blue fashion ideas available from various retailers at Ala Moana Center.

Happy Independence Day!
