Whether you surf, paddle or swim, Girls4Sport lives for you. In its fourth year of business, Girls4Sport offers performance clothing for active girls of all ages, while inspiring them to be sports-minded females.

“Girls4Sport is dedicated to creating performance clothing with the female body in mind,” says Kim Ruby, president. “Girls4Sport’s current line includes rashguard sets designed for women by women with super comfy SPF 65-rated fabrics, built-in shelf bras, out of the ordinary prints and flattering fits.

“In addition to its products, Girls4Sport has established the Girls4Sport Foundation, a charitable arm of Girls4Sport to support organizations and programs that provide girls of all ages with the support and inspiration to lead active, confident lives.”

Girls4Sport also sponsors a team of water girls, including Hawaii gals 29-year-old kiteboarder Nalani Oda, 48-year-old power outrigger canoe paddler Margie Kawaiaea and her 16-year-old daughter Kory, and big wave riders Marie Souza and Andrea Moller.

“Our team riders range in age from 13 to 54 and represent lots of water sports — surfing, kiteboarding, paddling, body boarding, swimming and more,” says Ruby. “We saw the gap in the market for performance clothing and gear for women. That’s our focus. We steer away from pure fashion clothing. Girls and women are more active than ever before and need real performance clothing that fits and works the way they do plus looks great.”

A kidswear line (from 2T to youth 12) was recently added to the existing line of girls 14 and above. On Oahu, Girls4Sport can be found at Surf Garage, Surf Addiction and Hawaii Surf & Sail. For more information, visit www.girls4sport.com
