Hot off the runway, Gucci recently held a private party to celebrate the arrival of its new fall/winter 2005-2006 collection and the release of two new Hawaii exclusive handbags.
Since first being established in Florence in 1921, Gucci has become “one of the world’s leading purveyors of personal luxury goods,” with a fine selection of handbags, small leather goods, luggage, shoes, ready-to-wear, ties, scarves, jewelry, eyewear and perfume.
Its products have a reputation for high quality, style and originality. Products are manufactured and sourced in Italy, using the finest quality materials by artisans in the Tuscany region.
For the second time, the company is offering two handbags available only in Hawaii. The cream color leather Hawaii handbags arrived in late July and feature a charm engraved with ‘Hawaii 2005.’ As for the “coveted bag of the season” it’s the Treasure Bag (pictured at bottom right) seen on the fall fashion runway and hitting stores now.
There’s also La Pelle Guccissima - a new collection featuring the brand’s two legendary symbols, the GG logo and Morsetto design, in leather. Bags with the double G logo are made with an embossed effect, while bags with the Morsetto design are de-embossed.
On Oahu, Gucci is located at Ala Moana Center and in Waikiki. For more information, call 942-1148 or visit www.gucci.com
