The holidays are here, and the party invitations are in the mail. Finally, opportunities to get all dolled up.

According to Sephora, this season it’s a return to the classics: primed faces, party hairdos, plum hues and everything sparkly.

Whether it’s a little shimmer on your cheeks, a twinkle in your eye or a tint of purple on your lips, Sephora has the products you need to dazzle.

Some of the newest and hottest holiday items at Sephora:

* Korres Sugar Plums Limited Edition Kit featuring a plum lip butter, a plum cherry lip gloss, and a plum sunflower and evening primrose shimmering eyeshadow.($29.50)

* Benefit’s Bad Gal Plum Mascara. ($19)

* Sephora Electro Liners micro-infused with glitter, available in mauve electro (matte plum), electro night (metallic midnight blue) and metal electro (metal dark grey). ($8)

To get this look:

Step 1: Using a foundation brush, brush on Make Up For Ever HD high definition foundation in color No. 120 ($40) to entire face.

Step 2: Using a concealer brush, apply Make Up For Ever full cover waterproof concealer ($30) where needed.

Step 3: Brush on Make Up For Ever HD microfinish powder ($30) to set your foundation.

Step 4: Line top and bottom of eyes with Sephora waterproof eye pencil in flashy black ($8).

Step 5: Apply Sephora colorful duo in color No. 08 to eyes, the darker color from lash line to crease and the lighter color from middle of eye to inner corner.

Step 6: Apply Sephora atomic volume mascara ($16) to eyelashes.

Step 7: Using the Sephora lash and eyebrow mascara ($8) brush up and sweep across each eyebrow once.

Step 8: Brush on Sephora highlighting compact powder ($15) to entire face.

Step 9: Using a blush brush, sweep Sephora blush me! in No. 8 ($10) to cheeks.

Step 10: Apply Sephora longwearing lipstick in mat 04 ($12) to lips.

Step 11: Line lips with Sephora maniac liner in rouge passion ($6) and use a lip liner brush to blend.

Step 12: Finish lips with Sephora ultra-shine lip gloss in color No. 04 ($15).

Step 5: From the middle of your eyelid to the inner corner, dab and blend Make Up For Ever diamond shadow in color No. 301 ($20).

Step 6: Using a eye liner brush, apply Make Up For Ever aqua creamliner ($20) to top liner.

Step 8: Glue on Sephora eyelashes ($8).

Step 9: Brush on Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara in black to eyelashes ($16).

Step 10: Using the Sephora lash & eyebrow mascara in clear ($8) brush up and sweep across each eyebrow once.

Step 11: Using a blush brush, sweep Sephora blush me! in framboise attraction ($10) to cheeks.

Step 12: Apply Sephora ultra-shine lip gloss in color No. 04 ($15) to lips.

Step 1: Dab on Make Up For Ever eye seal ($20) to eyelids as an eyeshadow base.

Step 2: Dab on Make Up For Ever eyeshadow in color No. 26 ($18) to eyelids, below crease.

Step 3: Blend in Make Up For Ever diamond shadow in color No. 303 ($20) to soften above-mentioned color.

Step 4: Apply Make Up For Ever eyelashes ($14).

Step 5: Line top and bottom of eyes with Make Up For Ever aqua creamliner in No. 01 ($20).

Step 6: Using a contour brush, sweep Make Up For Ever powder foundation duo mat No. 207 ($32) over entire face.

Step 7: Using a blush brush, sweep on Make Up For Ever eyeshadow color No. 26 ($18) to cheeks.

Step 8: Dab on to cheekbone Make Up For Ever diamond powder in color No. 2 ($24).

Step 9: Apply Make Up For Ever extreme shine lip gloss ($35 for a set of three) to lips.

Step 10: Spray Sephora gold glitter spray ($12) to hair and body.
