HOUSE OF ARIA
Wednesday - August 11, 2010
House of Aria was launched earlier this year as a traveling boutique, with shows at various events around town. But due to a growing clientele base, owner Melody Domingo decided it was time for a permanent location and recently opened at Waiau Center in Pearl City.
“I felt that the Leeward area was being under-served in women’s boutiques, being that most of the local women’s boutiques are in town,” says Domingo. “Coming from Ewa Beach and with the rising cost of fuel, commuting into town was becoming an issue. I wanted to offer fashionistas from the Leeward area another alternative, and because we are located in Pearl City, we are able to offer our clientele lower prices compared to other boutiques.”
The store carries a variety of women’s fashions such as comfortable rompers, cocktail dresses and billowy tunics, as well as fashion jewelry, handbags and belts. Brands include Wildfox, Collective Clothing, Audrey 3+1, Final Touch, Everly, Naked Zebra, local designers Indah and Ginger13, and KOI designer scrubs.
“I also work as an RN, so I wanted to incorporate (the KOI designer scrubs) into the shop,” says Domingo. “I wanted a boutique where healthcare professionals could shop for fashionable scrubs for work and also cute clothing to go out with.”
Fashionistas also can check out House of Aria at Off The Rack at Pearl Ultra Lounge Aug. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.
House of Aria is located at 98-450 Kamehameha Hwy., Suite 3. For more information, visit houseofaria.net or call 626-5982.
