Friends since their hanabata days at Lincoln Elementary School more than 30 years ago, Chong Yamamoto and Jina Watanabe have come together to open In My Closet at Kahala Mall. The store is set up as a big walk-in closet with a great selection of clothes, shoes, belts, jewelry and other fun accessories.
”We carry different brands and styles, and it’s always changing,” says Yamamoto. “We have regulars coming each week expecting something new, and we do. And once something sells out, it’s out. We don’t order in mass quantities.”
The store carries many of the latest designs seen in national magazines and on celebrities today, including Gwen Stefani’s hot Harajuku Lovers line. The store is located near Starbucks and Orange Julius. For more information, call 734-5999.
