Karl Lagerfeld For Impulse At Macy’s

The highly anticipated Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse Only at Macy’s was unveiled Aug. 31 featuring limited-edition women’s apparel pieces reminiscent of the fashion leg- end’s signature style.


As part of Macy’s Designer Capsule Initiative, in which the retailer collaborates with a designer to create an exclusive collection for Macy’s fashion Impulse department, Lagerfeld’s collection is the third capsule in the series and consists of refined dresses, airy tops, modern tweeds and his signature high-collared neck, priced on average from $50 to $170.

“To me, Macy’s is the perfect department store in the U.S. where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget,” says Lagerfeld, who helms his namesake fashion house and the Italian house Fendi and Chanel. “That’s why I am happy to make this limited collection just for Macy’s. Macy’s Designer Capsule Collection launched in February with London-based designer Kinder Aggugini, followed by Matthew Williamson. Giambattista Valli will be the fourth designer in the collaboration series with his collection launching Oct. 26. The line will feature cocktail dresses, flirty skirts, feminine blouses, lightweight jackets, edgy pants and graphic T-shirts.
