This summer, Macy’s welcomes Kiyo designs to its Ala Moana store, featuring a collection of Asian-inspired sheers and kimono-embellished fashions for women.

Kiyo designer Vicki Yamagami-Ragasa has been in the fashion industry for the past three decades, and since childhood has had an eye for colors and textures.

Many of her kimono-embellished jackets are inspired by the Japanese wedding or uchikake kimonos. These exquisite and rare kimono pieces feature elegant metallic threads and pastel colors.

In addition to apparel, Kiyo also offers one-of-a-kind necklaces made with precious gemstones, beads and kimono cording.

The Kiyo collection is available exclusively at Macy’s Ala Moana Store and can be found in the Viewpoint department on the third floor.

Featured here is Kiyo’s summer 2007 collection. For more information, call 941-2345 ext. 2101.
