La Pistil, along with Something in Everything Jewelry, presents a fashion and jewelry show this Saturday (July 28) at the Ko‘olani, 1189 Waimanu St. (third floor conference room), from 2:30 to 7 p.m.

La Pistil, which offers a mix of feminine, fun and vibrant dresses, rompers and tops for women, was launched just this year by Ashley Ishii of Mililani. And already retailers in Hawaii and across the country are taking notice. “I took a sewing class during the summer in high school and had fun,” says Ishii, 20. “Then my friend started sewing and making clothes, so I got into that too.”
