New and soon-to-be parents won’t want to miss the New Baby Expo Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall.

“Whether it’s maternity clothes, questions about nursing, clothing for children, baby products, finding a photographer or planning for that first birthday party, vendors at the New Baby Expo have everything you need,” says Anna Lau-Parish of Family Expositions.

More than 150 exhibitors will be set up with products and services for the prenatal to preschool market in Hawaii. There also will be a Baby Crawling Contest May 19 at 1 p.m., and Hawaii’s Largest Baby Shower May 20 at 1 p.m. And Clifford the Big Red Dog will make a special appearance.

This year, Aloha Mothers of Multiples (AMOM) celebrates its 40th anniversary and has scheduled its next general meeting at the New Baby Expo May 19 at 2:30 p.m. in the Demonstration Room. All parents of multiples and soon-to-be parents of multiples are invited to share stories and gather advice.

Featured here is some of the latest gear for babies and expectant moms available at the New Baby Expo. Photos were taken at the new USA Baby Downtown store (345 N. Nimitz Highway) near Flora Dec. This is USA Baby’s second location in addition to its Waipahu Town Center store.

General admission to the New Baby Expo is $4.50 at the door, (free for children 5 and under). The first 100 families on each day will receive a special gift. For more information, visit www.newbabyexpo.com
