New Stores On The Windward Side
Wednesday - November 26, 2008
Windward Mall welcomes two new stores - Sindication and Urban Flava - as well as the reopening of Jeans Warehouse, which moved into the spot vacated by d.e.m.o.
All are locally owned businesses and feature the latest in clothing and accessories for fashion-forward young adults.
Sindication, owned by Mike Malone, April Stoltz and Billy Whitnet, moved into the mall about a month ago from its previous location near the Kaneohe Post Office. The store is described as a lifestyle, streetwear boutique, and carries many hard-to-find underground brands for men and women, such as Cut & Sew, Tribal, RVCA, Two in the Shirt, Cerbae, as well as popular brands Tokidoki and Harajuku Lovers.
As for Urban Flava, this is the third location for owners Tony and Michelle Sproat, who also have stores in Pearlridge and Waipahu. The store carries urban, hip-hop clothing for men and women, with brands such as Baby Phat, Apple Bottoms, Sean John, Dereon, Ecko and Roca Wear.
Jeans Warehouse has been in business for 30 years and has 19 stores on Oahu, offering trendy junior fashions at great prices.
