Potpourri of Fashions

The Japanese Women’s Society Foundation presents a Potpourri of Fashions at its luncheon fashion show Sunday, April 17 at the Sheraton Waikiki featuring designs by Harari, Kahala and Linda Iki.
Harari offers wovens and knits with a mixture of unusual and exotic prints using artistic designs that are highlighted by vibrant colors and luxurious fabrics.
Kahala, known for its Hawaiian sportswear handcrafted since 1936, was founded by George Brangier and Nat Norfleet Sr. From their first factory on North King St., Kahala can now be found in many stores throughout the Islands, including more than two dozen retailers on Oahu.
The Linda Iki label is recognized in the fashion circles of Hawaii for its classic and timeless designs. In the JWS fashion show, Iki will present her Summer Collection, which will also be shown at a trunk show at Macy’s Ala Moana on April 21, 22 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Oahu, Harari and Linda Iki fashions can be found at Macy’sAla Moana.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Kuakini Home and projects for the elderly. The event starts at 9 a.m. with boutique sales. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 524-0450.
