The Pet Spot has opened at Ward Warehouse offering pet owners and pet lovers a huge selection of live animals, treats, toys, accessories, food and supplies.

“From food to shampoos to treats to toys, everyone is looking for all-natural organic or holistic products for their furry or feathered friends,” says Jennifer Pang, who owns The Pet Spot at Ward with husband Dave and their friends Paul and Eldiana Lazor. “Doggie fashion and jewelry accessories are hot. And primping your pooch so it looks and smells its very best is huge. Also, coordinating your dog’s fashion with the season is very important. Jewelry is another must-have and can make your canine the most stylish on the block while changing his or her look with just a clip or bracelet or two.”

Among the many health treats available at The Pet Spot are Muttrooms treats for dogs, which uses 100 percent certified organic mushrooms, and Pawsitively-gourmet fresh baked cookies. The Pet Spot also carries a variety of pure-bred puppies as well as mixed breeds, including toy dogs, small breeds and mid-sized breeds. In addition to dogs, the store also sells parakeets, lovebirds, bunnies and guinea pigs.

The Pet Spot also has a location at Pearl Highlands and is planning to open another store in Kaimuki in August. For more information, call 591-1990.
