The Salvation Army Fashion Show
Wednesday - April 18, 2007
The Salvation Army Celebrity Fashion Show takes place Saturday, May 5, at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, with some of Hawaii’s most recognizable women on the runway modeling the latest fashions all donated and specially selected for the show.
“As in previous years, hundreds of women will anxiously wait for the doors to open at the Sheraton Waikiki to start their great shopping spree for terrific bargains,” says Daniel de Castro, public relations director. “There will be a collection of specially selected new and almost new apparel, jewelry, accessories, shoes, bags and other collectibles for sale at the Fashion Boutique (before and after the fashion show). And many of Hawaii’s television news personalities and beauty pageant title holders will model some of the outfits available for sale after the fashion show.”
The annual fashion event, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is organized by the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Honolulu. Doors open at 9 a.m. for shopping at the hotel lobby, and the fashion show and luncheon is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m.
Tickets cost $50. For more information or to reserve your seat, call Natalie at 440-1859.
