“Life is short - buy cute clothes!” That’s the motto behind the new Valerie Joseph boutique in McCully Shopping Center.

“Valerie Joseph is a boutique of every girl’s dream come true,” says Valerie Ragaza-Miao, owner. “It is a girly dressing room that connects with the femininity of each female. We are a complete boutique that offers personal service to each client, including fashion and style tips.”

The boutique carries popular and hard-to-find brands such as BCBGirls, Buffalo (David Bitton), French Connection, Seven 7, Honeydew, Mary Green and Takeouts, as well as the Valerie Joseph private label.

“To maintain our boutique status quo, we keep our product assortments narrow, meaning we only offer small quantities to make each girl have a truly special piece,” adds Ragaza-Miao. “I advise all my clients if they see something they like they should pick it up because she may never see it again.”

Ragaza-Miao, who was born and raised in Honolulu, has always created her own designs. She has more than 22 years of retail experience ranging from boutique to off-price to Fortune 500 corporations. The name of the boutique, Valerie Joseph, is a combination of both her first name and her husband’s.

Valerie Joseph is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 942-5258.
