International recording sensations Adeaze and Aaradhna are headlining Toa Productions’ “Polynesian Power Tour 2007,“which kicks off Saturday, June 16, at Bringham Young University’s Cannon Activity Center.
Aaradhna, a New Zealand native, got her big break when she recorded with Adeaze for their original song, Getting Stronger, which soared to the No. 1 spot on New Zealand charts. Since then, she has recorded a single, Down Time, and a full-length album, I Love You.
“Adeaze and Aaradhna are hot ticket items,“says Norris Alaiasa, founder of Toa Productions. “They’re Polynesians who have hit the top of the charts in New Zealand and Australia.”

Aaradhna and Adeaze, comprised of brothers Nainz and Viiz Tupa’i, will be joined onstage by the current BYU-Hawaii Idol, Mareko, four Samoan Idol semi-finalists and Fiji. This innovative evening of entertainment and inspiration is from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $8 to $35 and are available by calling 293-3759 or 293-3545.
The aim of the Polynesian Power Tour is to bring together Polynesians from around the world who are thriving in areas such as music, entertainment, sports, etc. The tour was created through Toa Productions’ involvement in providing the theme song Polynesian Power for the ESPN documentary Polynesian Power: Islanders in Pro Football.
From Hawaii, the tour is scheduled to perform in Utah, Oregon and Washington, spreading positive music that uplifts and inspires.
